Win set of 4 bird feeders

Simply retweet (sorry) or share to please the birds

Encourage wild birds into your garden with this set of four wooden bird feeders from Primrose worth £40 – and you can win them in this week’s competition.

These house-shaped feeders have been designed to skewer fruit to provide birds with almost 360° access to food.

They’re perfect for using with halved apples, pears or bananas – fruit is very nutritious because it has a high water content and is rich in energy, but check your bird feeders every day to make sure that the food has not spoiled.

The feeders can also be used with suet balls and boiled unsalted potatoes, even small pieces of cheese and unsalted raw bacon.

Chance to win – set of four bird feeders

Made from wood with a metal skewer, these feeders are durable – width 19.5cm (7½in) x depth 6cm (2½in) x height 20cm (8in).

The roof of the houses helps keep the fruit dry in the rain while the extended shelves below give the birds a sturdy perch on which to sit.

To win the set, simply RT #BirdFeederPrimrose on Twitter, or share the post on the MandyCanUDigIt Facebook page. Competition closes midnight on Sunday, July 10. UK entries only. The winner will be pulled out of my hat on Monday, July 11.
